It seems to be a double standard when the people of a state or city legalize medical marijuana and then enforce laws against the very same product.

In their infinite wisdom the state of Colorado and many of its cities have legalized medical marijuana without so much as a thought as to where these new Medical Marijuana Dispensaries were going to get their products from. They have opened a can of worms they will never be able to close or control. After the fact they have gone back and modified the rules and laws to suit their whims.

The Federal government learned this lesson with prohibition.

And as a side line these very same people in Colorado are trying to outlaw tobacco.

Prohibition never worked with alcohol. It never has and never will with Marijuana either. They will eventually figure that out...

It is a mess, right now, from what I understand.

They need to just legalize it, completely, and these issues would not be issues.

I think it's funny they can't think ahead enough to set the program in motion with a better set of guide lines. Just enough to make it legal. But if you are caught growing it, off to jail with you. I agree with not over it, if you are going to make it legal make it all legal take the pushers out of the equation all together.

what a waste of money, this acounts for 0% of the weed, and only affect 3 or 4 farmers. at the expense of taxpayers, jet fuel is not cheap for the helicopters,

but hey it's good PR. expensive and in-accurate, but PR is PR.. ?? I guess

I wouldn't doubt if they recirculate it somehow. They sell back into the public via an undercover cop, who they then turn around and confiscate. Then do it all over again.

And I'll bet you all of that didn't make it to the undisclosed spot...now there's a bon fire...I hope everyone around has their windows shut...legalize this stuff...NJ has recently legalized medical marijuana...and they're doing their best to prolong the selling of it....they're not sure how to control it...or who should be allowed to grow it for sale...it's pot people...look around ... somebody is growing it.

plus, as they carry and move it,, it tends to accumulate in their pockets..... I wanna know, how do they come up with a million dollar value? since the farmers were not there. there is no stock market trading value for pot plants, nor pot, and the cops always pay too much for their dope..

I think the inflated value goes to the hero factor my hero made a bigger bust than your hero. And the other thing is like you said Jim the cops are going by the last ounce price they paid for their last stash.

There are a good many products that can be made rope, cloth and door mats just to name a couple. Then there is always the cooking market brownies and cookies. roflmfao

If we make it legal then we can tax it like tobacco and help the economy. Also there is so much more you can do with Hemp that will help the country.
